Our in person homeschool workshop provides an engaging and educational experience for students ages 5-12 years old. By utilizing Lego bricks, students can explore a variety of subjects, including history, science, and math. They will learn about the history of Lego bricks and how they can be used to understand scientific concepts. Club shirt included.
12:30-2 pm
6 weeks (6 classes)
In addition to academic subjects, the workshop incorporates STEM hands on activities. Through Lego building challenges, students will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Students will practice and learn public speaking skills by presenting their projects to the class if desired. In addition, students will learn a variety of outdoor games and drills. This dynamic and interactive learning environment combines diverse subjects with the versatility of Lego bricks.

This Lego club started in 2010 in our local homeschool co op at the time. In 2017, I had some health issues while waiting for our 6th child and I took a break from teaching. The pandemic took place shortly after and in 2022, coach Rachel and I joined Saints International. We loved our students and the ministry. However in 2024, that season in our lives ended and God called us back to Lego. So here we are, better than before! We’re a Step Up Direct Provider and can’t wait to bring fun to learning!
Personal background: I have a Level 2 background check (Aug. ‘24), First Aid & CPR certification, 30 years of children’s ministry. I’ve homeschooled our 6 children for 15 years now and have a Bachelor’s in Psychology specializing in child Psychology. My biggest prayer for these workshops is for the kids to learn about God and His creation, build friendships, learn a sport, learn a scientific, historical concept and have fun!
